So this Medieval lit class is kicking my ass. I'm two full weeks of reading behind because financial aid was slow and my book took almost two full weeks just to ship to me, and I just... There is no conceivable way of catching up with all of the OTHER writing & reading I have to do for classes. I'm considering dropping it, but that would put me at 3/4 time instead of full time.

I've already paid for the class. My brother says his friend dropped after the refund dates (and went below full-time) and didn't have a problem but I'll have to call the college to make sure it won't be a problem on Monday. ><

If it won't cause issues, I'm dropping that class like a hot potato. I only paid maybe $10 for all three books so I'm not worried about that. There are so many footnotes and I'm already a slow reader (I used to be a speed reader, but I just CAN'T read quickly anymore; I've found that the older I get the slower I read, and if I don't read slowly I can't absorb information to remember later).

Brothers are at GameJam this weekend. Nice and quiet. :P

good luck with the class!

if you end up having to keep it, i developed a few speed/skim reading techniques during college during weeks when i was like "oh shit it is physically impossible for me to do ALL this reading" that i can share, if that's helpful :P
