Things:

1.) The third season of Glee suuuuuuuuuucks. Sucks so hard. Bad. Whatever. It's awful. I'm not surprised but I'm still disappointed.

2.) I need to write a 30 Rock fic. Soon. Maybe this week.

3.) I have a Sociology exam tomorrow. -_-

4.) I hate not having a weekend.

5.) I'm not doing very well in English. I have never failed so badly at something ever. Literacy analysis? YeahokayI'mbadatit.

6.) I have an 80% in history?? :((( A random 4/5 "class discussion"? There are like 200 people in there, and I don't understand this "4/5" stuff. Uggghh, whatever.

7.) I will punch myself if I do better in Sociology and Dynamic Earth than in English, History and French. The latter three are actually interesting and things I WANTED to learn. -_-

My thoughts on school so far:

I like it, but I have such little capacity for memorization that I think it's going to be a real struggle. I hate my shitty four-hour gap between classes, because, let's face it, that's ridiculous. The only good thing about it is that it gives me extra time to study/etc before my history/soc/labs and that is very nice. The drive is long as hell but it's not too bad so far.

My schedule is this:

Monday: 8am--6pm
Wednesday: 8am--8pm
Friday: 8am--4:30pm
Saturday: 10am--12:40pm

I like having Tuesday and Thursday off, though. It's nice to have that extra day in between to get caught up on work/reading/et cetera. -_-

So

One more disc of 30 Rock left to watch. What do you do when a series you love ENDS?!

Spoilers for 30 Rock! Sorta. )

Anyway, so I figure my method will be the usual:

1.) Stare blankly at a wall.
2.) Sleep on it.
3.) Feel empty (though not as empty as I felt after finishing Rose of Versailles, WHAT DO YOU MEAN THAT'S IT?!).
4.) Read fanfiction and a.) mock the badfic, plus b.) review the good fic
5.) Join a 30Rock LJ or something.
6.) WRITE A FANFIC.
7.) Run screaming into the arms of the next fandom.

Re: writing fanfiction, I feel that writing 'fic helps me cope with things like...a series ending. I never write 'fic for movies, just book series' (very rare) and TV shows, and I usually do it as some kind of therapy/tribute combination. This is why awesome shows like Gilmore Girls only has one 'fic by me. However...some series' I never felt the need to do that for, though I still feel guilty about it (I'm looking at you, Digimon 01 and 02 fandom!).

Up Next: Glee, Season Three. HOW BAD CAN IT POSSIBLY GET, RIGHT GUYS?! LOLOLOL

Did I mention I was re-watching Glee? I am. Trying to remember why I got so mad at the series in the first place. Also I never got to watch The Funeral episode because I knew what was going to happen and I DID NOT WANT TO HAVE TO WATCH THAT.

Either way. I'm on Season 2 somewhere.

Now that I think about it, if they were trying to make the viewer(s) more accepting of people of varying race/religion/color/sexuality, then why did they pack every stereotype into the show and then make the teachers, aka adults, complete dipshits and/or assholes. Seriously, do not watch this show and try to take it seriously. IT HURTS.

How about a meme?

Give me a fandom, and I will link you songs that remind me of it!

You can ask for character-specific songs also if you like. And I'm not tagging anybody.

I tried to do some writing last night but I was terrible. I was working on The Werewolf Fic and I just went...hurrrrr what do. Because it sounds so...dialogue-y. And I hate dialogue-driven fanfiction for some reason. Probably because when it gets long, it gets boring. And this thing is 6,000 words of mostly dialogue.

Then again, if you have four people in the same room having a discussion, too much description slows the pace down and dialogue happens quickly. Huh.

I did, however, get to The Night. >:] Too bad I am amazingly fail at action scenes.

I finished a good Harry Potter 'fic and then clicked on a horrid one that had annoying tropes like Instant Attraction and Lots of Blushing and Trip Into His Arms. I hate all of those things because they're so overdone and never done well.

For once, HP fandom, can Tonks trip and NOT BE CAUGHT?! PLEASE.

Not because I want her to bust her face on whatever sharp edge happens to be sticking out. But because that shit does not happen in real life. And Tonks doesn't seem the swooning type, so every time she gets caught, she swoons, and I scowl. Because it's awful. Come on.
